Metal Shark recently hosted representatives of Galapagos National Park Service (GNP) to its Louisiana, USA production facilities to inspect and sea trial the newest addition to the GNP’s fleet of Metal Shark patrol boats. Situated in the Pacific about 500 miles west of Ecuador, the park's 18 main islands and surrounding waters are home to sea lions, whale sharks, hammerhead sharks, the Galapagos penguin, waved albatross, and the giant Galapagos tortoise. The GNP’s Metal Shark patrol boats are used by park rangers to preserve and protect the park’s unique natural resources and the boats operate year round across the park’s 3,000 mile range. Metal Shark is proud to support the important conservation efforts of Galapagos National Park!

2moIt is great to see my colleagues from GNP visiting the Metal Shark plant. I trust that the vessel is loaded with extra anodes and Spanish manuals 🤗 .
