In Image and Video Processing Lab@IIT Bhubaneswar, my BTP student K. Sai Harshith developed an amazing device to help the blind persons in warning about adverse obstacles lying ahead them. It does not require any internet, power efficient and very much inexpensive, ideal for rural conditions in our country. Look at the video attached for a demo of the device, dubbed as NETRA-3 !!!
