Today, on the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, we're excited to share how our organization is making a tangible impact on an inclusive and peaceful world. 🕊️ 1️⃣ We are addressing housing conflicts between refugees and host communities through our groundbreaking Virtual-Reality-Simulation (VRS) called "Bridging Communities." 👥 Designed for professionals working in conflict resolution and those engaged with refugee communities, "Bridging Communities" utilizes avatars representing both host community members and refugees. Through the PIN-Method (aka Onion-Model), participants delve into the underlying factors of conflicts, empowering them to envision and implement effective, lasting solutions. 2️⃣ Partnering with the Principles for Peace Foundation in their PEACEGAME initiative, we engage senior experts, governmental representatives, and civil society organizations worldwide to promote peace through a comprehensive framework of eight principles. By showcasing the applicability of these principles in enhancing peace processes, we're fostering understanding and collaboration on a global scale. Would you like to explore more about our contributions to inclusion and diversity? 🌍 The fight against xenophobia is essential for an inclusive and respectful society. In South Africa, it is important to understand that socio-economic inequalities are not the only explanation for this phenomenon. In Ethiopia, for example, where inequalities are also present, xenophobia remains almost non-existent thanks to a culture of tolerance towards migrants. 🤝 South African leaders have a crucial role to play in the fight against xenophobia. Adopting a pan-African vision and stopping demonizing migrants would be steps in the right direction. It is important to take into account social, cultural and political factors for a multidimensional approach. 🌟 Our ultimate goal is to create a society where every individual, whether migrant or not, is treated as a full member of the community. Join us in this fight against xenophobia and share your ideas to build a more inclusive and respectful world. #AllTogetherAgainstXenophobia #SocialInclusion 💬 Share your views in the comments! 👇 #Xenophobia #Tolerance #FightForJustice
