I observed people starting off with a huge template with a bunch of frameworks on projects (templates). I think this can be an overkill while starting projects. I am a big fan of include frameworks only when you absolutely need them. If you included them early on just because you thought it might be necessary in future, then I guess we are overengineering. This helps in keeping the project and flow in your head and under your control. I was running into a fairly complex concurrency issue on a sizeable iOS project and needed some logs around the code. Up until then I was using the simple "print" or "debugPrint" to reason through what's happening. It can be useful with some concurrency issues. There were a lot of functions being called. Right then I decided, I needed a logging framework as it gave me the method name that was being called and that flow was important. Then I quickly wrote up a very small/tiny module using the OSLog framework bundled with iOS SDK. Nothing extra, nothing fancy, did the job. Gave me various levels of logging. Sounds to me like this is the ideal way to decide when you really need something on a project. (Also seems to follow the YAGNI (You Aren't Gonna Need It) principle) I would even wager for Networking/API calls in iOS projects, just banking on URLSession (this is very nice) at first and extending it via generics as and when absolutely necessary. Needn't start with "Alamofire" right from the get-go. Not against it, but you may not need so much. #YAGNI #oslog #ios #swift #programming #decisionmaking #architecture #alamofire #concurrency #URLSession

🎉 Just completed a Core Data project in Swift using UIKit! 🎉 It may have been a simple task, but diving into Core Data has been an incredibly rewarding learning experience. 📚 Through this project, I’ve gained a solid understanding of how Core Data works, from setting up the data model to efficiently storing, retrieving, and managing data within an iOS app. Even simple tasks can teach us a lot, and I’m excited to apply these new skills to more complex challenges ahead. Check out the video below to see it in action! 🎥👇 #iOSDevelopment #CoreData #UIKit #Swift #LearningJourney #TechSkills

💻 Day 104 of #100DaysOfCode | #365DaysOfCode Today, I made significant progress in my C# learning journey as I continue building skills for FinTech development. Here’s what I learned: ✅ Data Types: Explored more built-in types for managing data efficiently. ✅ Operators: Mastered arithmetic, comparison, and logical operators for better control flow and data manipulation. ✅ var Keyword: Understood how C# infers types dynamically, enabling cleaner and more readable code. Excited about how these concepts fit into building scalable applications. Onward and upward! 🚀 #CSharpLearning
