Job Description: Commission Sales Associate I (CSA I) Position Summary: As a Commission Sales Associate I (CSA I), your primary responsibility will be to generate sales revenue by promoting and selling our products, with a focus on Odogwu Delight and Eirene Beach City. You will be expected to meet monthly sales targets while providing exceptional customer service to our clients. Key Responsibilities: - Promote and sell Odogwu Delight and Eirene Beach City products to prospective customers. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business. - Meet or exceed monthly sales targets set by the company. - Provide accurate product information and pricing to customers. - Collaborate with the sales team to identify new sales opportunities and strategies. - Prepare sales reports and forecasts as required by management. - Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities. Compensation and Benefits: - Monthly salary of 100,000 NGN, with additional commissions based on sales performance. - Commission structure: 1% commission on sales of Odogwu Delight, 2% commission on sales of Eirene Beach City. - Eligibility for company benefits and perks after the probationary period. - Flexible working hours with remote work options. Probationary Period: During the probationary period, employees must achieve at least 50% of their monthly sales target to continue employment. How important is experience in a particular sales cycle motion important when hiring an Account Executive? VERY IMPORTANT! One of the many mistakes I have made over the years is hiring AE's based on the wrong criteria, such as: 1. I really like the rep, I would buy from them. 2. They have experience selling in this space. 3. They have great references, and proven track record of hitting their goals. 4. They fit the culture well. Ok, these are all great reasons to hire someone, but one of the key things to not overlook is this: 5. They have experience selling products within the same sales cycle as your product. This one gets overlooked and it is so important! Having experience selling within an 18 month sales cycle, and then joining a product/company that has a 3 month sales cycle will be a hard transition for any rep, no matter how talented they are. Don't overlook this metric when hiring.
