In the last few years, satellites in #LEO have nearly quadrupled from ~2,000 in 2021 to almost 8,000 today — orbital debris is also rapidly increasing. Knowing what’s happening when it’s happening is critical in this environment. We can keep you mission-ready. Come see us next week at AMOS Conference to learn how.

Sr. Recruiter - I build the teams that build the satellites. Recruiting Truth Teller & Mythbuster. Somehow, LinkedIn Top Voice 2022
"I'm gonna take the Amazon job. I figure I can commit until launch" This is what I told my husband almost four years ago after finding out I was indeed getting an offer to join #ProjectKuiper. 1,372 Day 1's later, I can't imagine being anywhere else. I'm absolutely blown away by how much we've accomplished over the years and can't wait for the next phase of our program - building and launching our constellation. (this is where I drop a shameless plug for my MFG and Production teams - we're hiring!) I remember asking a very smart leader at Microsoft what kept him there for over two decades. He told me he looked at his career in three year sprints. What will I launch next? What deliverable will I get to work on for the next 2-3 years? And do that thing. Then, ask again. Friends, I've asked that question - now that we've launched, what will I do next? What's the next big thing for ME personally as a recruiter? The answer? Build out the Production team with the absolute BEST hiring managers a girl could ask for (bonus, I helped bring most of them to Kuiper too). Can't wait to see what the next 1,372 days bring. 🛰 ❤️
A few days into the #ProjectKuiper #Protoflight mission, our satellites are going strong as we prepare to enter the next phase of testing. Here are some highlights from our journey to get to this point! 🚀 Learn more: https://spr.ly/6041una95

Innovation knows no bounds. So, we've reached for the stars... literally! Awesome to see the successful Falcon 9 rocket launch of the first-ever Direct to Cell satellites, which T-Mobile’s network will use to connect customers in remote places. Once the satellites are positioned in space, we'll begin testing with one goal in mind: keep our customers connected in ways that cell signals have never been able to cover before. https://lnkd.in/gQZ5gaEf

An entire economy in orbit is emerging, but also much more than that... when a citizen (a special one :D) has in orbit thousands of satellites, and has a plan to put in orbit and control 30,000 (thirty thousand satellites!!) ...while for example the U.S. launched "only" 2000 in the period 2011-2020, the possible scenarios will be unthinkable and unimagined today by most, the book I am translating into Italian is of help to understand something epochal and relevant to everyone's life. https://lnkd.in/dRShA9U2 Pietro Guerrieri Italian Institute for the Future #futuresliteracy #futuresthinking #anticipation #anticipatorygovernance

Following Episode 1 on all topics of relevance to satellite, here's now an exciting Episode 2 on inter-satellite links under discussion at #WRC23. Don't miss this story from #SES on the beauty of combining #GSO and #NGSO together!
Did you know that satellites in higher orbits can be used as data relay links for satellite systems in lower orbits, such as earth observation missions? What are the advantages of this alternative path to download data to the ground? 🤔 SESers Benoit Rougier and Samuel Blondeau join host Kristina Smith-Meyer on our #SatelliteStories podcast to deep dive into this hot topic ahead of #WRC23. 🎧 Tune in: https://ow.ly/huoJ50Q4n8h #GSO #NGSO #Spectrum #SatCom #EPFD #IntersatelliteLinks #EarthObservation #ESIMs

How many satellites are orbiting the earth? The number grows year-on-year as satellite technology continues to advance. What impact is this exponential expansion having on public safety and what does the future hold? Our very own Fotis Karonis will be among the panel members discussing this at CCW 2024. When: May 15 | 12:30-13:15 Where: Theatre C Join us for the panel discussion: https://bit.ly/3W0dlfi #CCW24 #SatelliteConnectivity #CriticalCommunications #PublicSafety

I recommend listening to my dear SES Satellites expert colleagues explaining how #wrc23 with agenda item 1.17 can enable increased connectivity for #earthobservation and small satellites. Go 🛰️2🛰️!!
