Getting “Old” Doesn’t Have to Suck It’s only does if you choose to let it. The caption in this video says the guy is 72 — I have no idea if that’s true or not but he’s clearly older than your average fitness person on social media. He has a high strength to weight ratio (as evidenced by the movements he demos). His level of flexibility is high (also shown in the video). His balance is very good (also in the video). These are all universally held markers that can predict the quality of life as you age. There isn’t any dispute around these 3 factors. In fact, one simple test — can you sit and get up off the ground without using your hands or any external source for balance or to pull yourself up? Try that out and let me know how you do.

Here’s my day before travel checklist that I’ve perfected to make sure I don’t forget anything: Start prepping a week before: I start setting things aside for my trip, but I hold off on packing until a day or two before, so I remember what’s in my suitcase. Do a round of editing: Right before I pack, I edit to make sure I’m packing what I’ll actually need. I also check the weather forecast where I’m headed to make sure I’m prepared. Carry-on check: I double- and triple-check my carry-on for my documents, my AirPods, and my chapstick—basically everything I’ll need on the actual flight

👾🛸 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 🛸👾 Being a business owner during the week is all about solving problems, tackling to-do lists, and staying on top of things... but come the weekend? It’s time to power down the laptop and power up the consoles. 🎮 The emails can wait—because right now, I’m fully immersed in an epic Mario Kart race where my 6-year-old somehow always beats me, and my 8-year-old has declared a galactic lightsaber duel to decide who brings the bin in after it was emptied yesterday (spoiler: it’s still me). 😅 Sure, Monday will bring the usual hustle, but weekends are for levelling up in Fortnite, engaging in fierce Star Wars trivia battles, and mastering the fine art of snack-time negotiations. And let’s be honest, it’s the best kind of work. If you need me, I’ll be right here—controller in one hand, Nerf gun in the other—reminding myself that those emails aren’t going anywhere, but these gaming sessions and family laughs are where the real action is. So to all my fellow parents/business owners: take off your CEO hat and grab a controller this weekend. An easy way to increase your daily burn and lose weight (Walking pad + Standing desk) Usually, my mother and my father-in-law whoop me on the Fitbit leaderboard. But they don’t know what’s coming! Joy for my latest toys! A walking pad and a height-adjustable desk to turn my regular desk into a standing desk! I’ve been thinking of getting them for a long time, and now that I got them, I wonder why I didn’t get them sooner. Here are the stats to help paint a picture. Both no-exercise days: 1) Sedentary Saturday: 5,971 steps (1,665 calls) 2) Workday on the walking pad: 26,446 steps (2,544 calls) The difference is 879 cals. It's low-hanging fruit for anyone who wants to create a calorie deficit. — Thanks for being here!
