First time I started as an intern was in March 2015. I started initially back in 2010. I started last year on June 2023. I did my internship back in summer 2022. I actually interned with the group. I helped the Brooklyn team with their sales and helped to promote them. I worked for the provider network. And operations department. During that time we worked on a lot of editing and policies. And initially I started as an HR intern. The work mostly included filing, mostly like clerical work, some administrative tasks. I was in the marketing department. I will go to Woodhall Hospital and like shadow the marketing reps and help making like reports and stuff. So my biggest tip would be to make sure to not work. Make sure to talk to your other coworkers. You never know when another opportunity is going to come. Learn, learn, learn. You know, you really want to be a sponge and absorb as much information as possible because it really does make a difference in your career. You know, moving forward, I do think you should always come with with good intentions. Like your intention shouldn't just be like, oh, I just need a job for somebody to make money. If you are coming here, if this is a business that you want to stay in, you should come in with good intentions to say, hey, I want to learn what I can learn. Do well while you're in here. Because like, people do evaluate you, don't they? Like, ohh, I'm just an intern. No, like people do evaluate you and you never know, like your performance during your internship might affect your career in the future. And also take advantage of the location. We have a lot of different great spots around here, so take advantage of that as well. Welcome to Metro plus health. Welcome to Metro Plus. I wish you all the best.
