Metropolitan Memorial Parks’ Post

We're excited to have hosted our first Death Café at Woronora Memorial Park, sparking important conversations for end of life ☕🕊️ This intimate gathering brought people together to share, listen, and explore the complexities of death, dying, and life.   A Death Café is a safe and supportive space where people can come together to discuss death, dying, and the human experience. By encouraging open and honest conversations, we aim to empower individuals to live more authentically, approach life's biggest questions with curiosity and courage, and break down taboos surrounding death and dying.   A huge thank you to Lillian Lyon and Nicque Misa-Richards from the #ShireDeathCafe for facilitating this important conversation. Your expertise and compassion helped create a truly meaningful experience for all who attended.   We're excited to continue this important conversation and look forward to hosting more Death Cafés at The Woronora Lodge.   #DeathCafe #WoronoraMemorialPark #MetropolitanMemorialParks #EndOfLifeConversations #DeathAwareness
