BEHIND THE SCENES AT JERSEY ARCHIVES This Saturday (21st) is the last opening of the year at Jersey Archive. Jersey Heritage are offering FREE tours to anyone who wants to see behind the scenes at Jersey's National Award-winning gem. The archives were originally designed by Metropolitan Workshop LLP and extended with BDK Architects in 2018. Tours explore the strongrooms, Cataloguing Room and Conservation Lab and are at 9.30,10.30 and 11.30am. The Archive Reading Rooms will also be open for general research 9am-1pm. Book your place by calling 833300 or emailing archives@jerseyheritage.org. This is the final event this year of the ‘Your Home Your Story’ lecture series. Antony Gibb Ltd have thoroughly enjoyed sponsoring the series for the past two years. The lectures have brought to life the island’s history through its buildings and the stories of the families that lived in them through the centuries.
