Behind the face of our company lies a variety of departments, all serving different purposes. At LS Art Consulting, every department plays a vital role in the success of the company. We wanted to dive into a few of our departments to show our clients how each role contributes to making the company thrive, starting with our Creative & Special Projects department. When we first receive a project concept, we gather all the technical details like scale, location, or interior or exterior factors, and that’ll inform us how to get started materialistically. The next step is quoting, where we have an estimate and a rough game plan for execution. There’s typically between 2 months or 2 years between quote and PO. With a PO number, we can start fabricating the concept, beginning with 3D renders and ending with the construction process. There’s challenges, but our Art Director described the process of overcoming a challenge as, “a fun brain tickle to navigate those problems and come up with solutions”. Our special projects team consists of our art director, our fabrication lead, our post-print manager, and our crating & special projects specialist. Our team members are well rounded individuals with a variety of skill sets that give us opportunities to conquer any challenge, fabricate any project, and to do it well. We’re always expanding and growing, and now, there really isn’t anything we can’t do. Thank you for watching and we’ll see you next time. As always, be limitless. Goodbye! #interiordesign #hospitalitydesign #designingspaces #resortdesign #cruiseshipinteriors #hoteldesign #hotelinteriors #resortinteriors #hospitalityinteriors #art #artconsulting #artconsultants #lsartconsulting #frameworked

I am a founder of Asylum Studio. We specialize in illustrations/renderings for Architects & Developers. Interested in a co-lab? email to info@asylumstudio.co.za
10 reasons to quit your architectural renderers job immediately and move to a secluded island 😁 1. **Escape the Deadline Madness**: Say goodbye to the relentless pressure of meeting tight deadlines and hello to the serene pace of island life, where your biggest concern is the tide schedule. 2. **No More Software Updates**: Forget the never-ending cycle of software glitches and updates; on an island, the only thing you need to update is your tan. 3. **Unlimited Beach Breaks**: Trade in your cubicle for a hammock, where “taking a break” means lounging on the beach with a coconut in hand. 4. **Daily Fresh Air**: Swap the recycled office air for the invigorating scent of salty sea breezes and the sound of waves crashing, which is infinitely more calming than a malfunctioning air conditioner. 5. **Unplug and Recharge**: Enjoy a digital detox from endless emails and notifications, allowing you to truly relax and recharge without a single “urgent” message. 6. **Build Sandcastles, Not Buildings**: Channel your creativity into sand sculpting, where the only deadlines are the tide’s schedule, and every design is a masterpiece of impermanence. 7. **Tropical Inspiration**: Gain new design inspiration from the natural beauty around you—palm trees, sunsets, and turquoise waters offer a fresh perspective far from the sterile office environment. 8. **Peaceful Procrastination**: Revel in the luxury of time as you embrace island life’s relaxed rhythm, where procrastination is simply enjoying the view and soaking up the sun. 9. **No More Client Revisions**: Leave behind endless rounds of client feedback and revisions, and instead focus on perfecting your island cocktail recipe and your hammock placement. 10. **Living the Dream**: Finally, live out the dream of many—an endless vacation where every day is a sunny adventure and the only thing you need to render is the perfect sunset.

I help Recruiters, HR & UX Product Teams Hire the Right Design & Tech Talent | Expert Career Coach | Talent Assessor & Consultant
Can you truly become a ‘great’ designer by sitting at a desk all day? Designers need to ‘get out of the building’. I’ve always found it interesting (and odd) when we celebrate designers who have never left their own city, let alone their own desk. Designers need inspiration. They need to immerse themselves in a city, its people, its sounds, smells, culture, history and so on. How can you design a chair without observing people? How can you design a city without observing people? Today, design is simply a job (in many cases) whereas it should be a way of life. What do you think?

Contrary to common perception, the role of a #design engineer extends beyond the confines of a traditional white-collar job. While we do operate in office spaces, our work takes us beyond the cabins to the heart of the factory floor. We immerse ourselves in the hands-on aspects of our product, engaging in the creation, disassembly, and fixing of products. Yes !! Our clothes also get permanent #stains. Our hands also get #dirty.Through physical trials and challenges, we occasionally find ourselves facing minor #injuries . Despite these hurdles, we take #pride in success of our projects.
