With construction 75% complete, this cutting-edge plant is nearly ready to heat the campus! We would like to congratulate Ines Felipe on being named September’s Employee of the Month! Ines is a Lead Electrical Designer who works in our Florida office.Her work ethic is unmatched. She is currently working on numerous South Florida multifamily projects including E11even Residences Phase I, 72 & Park and Society Las Olas Phase II. Ines always states, MGE is her personal client and with that in mind, she is dedicated and passionate about providing “the very best service to MGE!” This mindset has made her an invaluable member, both professionally and culturally. She leads daily with a considerate and thoughtful spirit that is extended to each of her peers. This ranges from willingly extending her expertise on work-related matters or taking the personal initiative to make sure every one of her colleagues feel special on their birthday by organizing in-office celebrations. This week's project highlight is 888 Brickell Avenue. Plans have been submitted for the stunning Dolce&Gabbana Tower, which will reach a height of 1,049 feet. The 81-story mixed-use development features 259 residential units and over 102,000 square feet of commercial space, including retail, dining, a spa, and a gym. Led by JDS Development Group, 888 Brickell is designed by Studio Sofield with ODP Architecture and Design as the architect of record. Recently, Senior Electrical Designer, Ricardo Colon visited a job site with one of our summer interns, Nicholas Manaris and it was a fantastic experience! The client enthusiastically walked Nicholas through the workings of the job site, and he was eager to learn, asking plenty of great questions. We were at a groundbreaking 28-story residential building in New Rochelle, featuring the city's first geothermal system.
