Since 2020, MG2 Advisory has worked with our client The NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) on a department-by-department exploration into how to redefine value at its many locations. Through a deep dive analysis into customer pain points and desires, MG2 Advisory identified drivers to inform the evolution of the in-store experience, allowing the Navy’s mission to be deeply reflected in the spaces visited by sailors and their families. Based on the insights and research the MG2 Advisory Team brought forward, our designers reimagined stores to provide more significant space for storytelling, fostering excitement and a sense of community. “The way that the departments are structured and organized elevates the product, elevates the experience, and makes it easier for the customer to find what they’re looking for…” – Richard Honiball, EVP and global chief merchandising and marketing officer for the Navy Exchange Service Command.
