Sometimes it helps to take a step back. Have seen several headlines about Twitch viewership being down from January or up over February from our latest report. To me, the biggest part of the report is talking about how cyclical the stats are. Over the last 5 years, we've seen pretty consistent ebbs and flows in particular months. So while the overall numbers rise on a yearly basis, the month-to-month stats have consistent relative increases or decreases (outside the anomaly of the pandemic). So yes, March viewership is down from January. But March is ALWAYS down from January. We typically see the same at Lightstream. January has always been a big month - everyone is trying out those new games and gadgets they got for Christmas. :)
