Routine is good for mental and business health. Routine is considered boring, but routine brings in a rhythm to life. When routine is disrupted, it upsets your whole day. A digital routine is very important for your brand and business growth. What exactly is this? 1. Planning your day, week and month in advance for your digital business/ professional activities. Content, networking, business getting, commenting. 2. Knowing your consistency. How often, what days and what times will you post? Scheduling. 3. How many times will you check your social media? How many times will you respond? Will you respond or not? Which comments will you respond to. 4. Constantly browsing or scrolling or checking your digital media can be detrimental to mental health. 5. How often do you check if your website is running smoothly? Do you have a digital routine? Are you overwhelmed by this activity? Are you scared of putting enough and effective content out there? Do you have a good measure of your digital presence? In the 2 August, 2023 article featured in Mental Health, entitled What is an Empath? And 4 Signs You Are One, an empath was defined as a person who is highly attuned to the feelings of others, often to the point of experiencing those emotions themselves. While you may think that’s only helpful in someone’s personal life and may not be productive in the workplace, research shows the opposite may be true. In fact, when it’s combined with technology and innovation, it can lead to exceptional performance. [https://lnkd.in/gRatKPfY] Seeking exceptional performance from respondents when they’re answering survey questions is highly desired by the industry but is it ever achieved? Given that typical surveys are exercises where respondents read and answer questions, empathy would seem to be a difficult element to build in…..but what if we could? With GMIFY, one of its key features is that it asks respondents to also think about others who are completing the same tasks, creating empaths and thus better performance, leading to better quality data. Empathy through technology – it’s no secret sauce, but it could be a real game-changer. GMIFY – did you know? #mentalhealth #dataquality #marketresearch #insightsassociation #esomar #newmr

First you deliver quality work and not crib about every copy you write. First you deconstruct the brief and not say, "This doesn't make sense" without even researching or speaking to the team. First you help your team to jam, crack concepts, write the ideas and not come across as the one wanting the team to fail. Its very easy to call our advertising industry toxic, and it is toxic in so many ways. But, please don't use #mentalhealth as an excuse every time you are given some work. #mentalhealth is a serious issue, don't use it as a shield because you are lazy. And, the moment you are called out for the quality of work you deliver, you victimize yourself and call the people/agency/industry toxic, how is that fair? Yes, the industry is toxic. It is learning and unlearning things everyday. Somedays we win, somedays we all fail as a collective. But the entire industry works as a team for campaigns, projects, retainers, their clients, the reputation. It will get better but projecting everyone else as toxic because you cannot think of a line or crack a concept has everything to do with you. Everyone is fighting mental health issues, each and everyone of us, me too as I write this. And, this industry really understands (or tries to) understand the importance of mental health. Let's please try to prioritize our mental health for everything its worth but NOT present it as a shield to cover mediocre work. I don't care if I face slack for this, it is what it is. Everyone's mental health is a priority but the whole world cannot be projected as toxic because of your inability to perform well. #mentalhealth #advertising #industry #advertisingindustry #foodforthought #peoplematter #peopleculture #agencylife

Many mental health practices struggle with their online presence, which can hinder their growth and client engagement. In my years of working with organizations, I've noticed 3 common mistakes that ruin their engagement and create barriers for patients seeking help. Here are three common pitfalls to avoid: Here are three common mistakes to avoid: 1) Focusing on Services Instead of Problems: Clients often don't know what specific services they need, but they do know their problems. Speak to their issues and explain how your services can help. 2) Using Therapy Jargon: Industry terms might make sense to professionals, but can be overwhelming for clients. Use plain, descriptive language to make your services accessible. 3) Not Collecting Email Addresses: Not everyone is ready to book immediately. You can offer free resources like guides or videos to capture email addresses and build trust through consistent, valuable communication. Addressing these issues can transform your website into a powerful tool for attracting and retaining clients.
