Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science’s Post

Calling all 11th and 12th grade teachers! Frost Science is excited to announce our first-ever STEM Challenge, launching during the 2024-2025 academic year. This challenge, sponsored by the Glenn Bailey Foundation, engages 11th and 12th grade students and teachers with a year-long STEM investigation. In this challenge, students will select a prompt from one of the STEM Challenge’s four fields of study: 🪐 astronomy, 🌊 marine science, 🦖 paleontology, or 🫁 health. Each prompt has a solutions-based climate science focus. After students learn more about their selected field, they will use their newfound knowledge to engage in the engineering design process, developing and modeling solutions to real-world, local issues. Students will then present their solutions at the STEM Challenge event day held at Frost Science in the spring of 2025. The best part? These opportunities are all provided at no cost. Head to https://lnkd.in/eVMfgxi5 to learn more and register.
