LOANS | TRAINING | SCHOLARSHIPS - Advancing Economic Development in South Florida by Supporting Minority-Owned Businesses & Education

Happy International Day of Education! Education is at the forefront of our organization. Whether it's supporting the educational endeavors of minority students or developing educational programs to help support the small businesses that boost our local economy, it's what we are committed to. On this day, we want to highlight three of our amazing educational community partners. @mdcollege @fiuinstagram @fmu_official Miami Dade College, founded on the belief in universal access to higher education, provides over 300 distinct degree pathways at its eight campuses. Since 1998, MBF has supported this mission by endowing scholarships for minority students residing in the City of Miami. Florida International University (FIU) receives vital support from MBF, demonstrating a strong commitment to community advancement through initiatives such as the University-Wide Scholarship, First Generation Scholarship Program, Golden Scholars Program, and MBF MBA Scholarship for students in FIU's MBA Downtown or Professional MBA Flex programs. The MBF Scholarship at Florida Memorial University (FMU) was established in 2012 to encourage college achievement among City of Miami residents. FMU is a private coeducational institution with the distinction of being one of the oldest academic centers in the state, and the only historically Black university in South Florida.
