1 assumption mistake you MUST avoid at all costs! I was visiting a customer recently and I was furious. Why? Because I saw another supplier offering solutions that simply don't meet the customer's real needs. 🔍 Here's what happened: A supplier proposed a liquid applicator for feed safety. But, the feed at this customer's operation has a high turnover and is gone within 7-10 days. The real challenge is not the feed's safety, but the long-term storage of raw materials to prevent mold growth and mycotoxin challenges. By deeply exploring their operations and listening attentively, it was clear that preserving raw materials is the true need. 💡 My questions are: 1. Why is this supplier selling the right product but for the wrong application? 2. Why didn’t they understand the customer’s actual challenges? 3. Why didn’t they ask where their product could truly add value? 📢 Lesson learned for the customer: In the market, there will always be someone willing to sell someone making you feel you made the right choice. But not all suppliers can truly be called partners. True partners care about your problems and help you become better and will celebrate with you when you become more profitable. 💪 This is where Adisseo and I stand. I will not stay silent when I see something unfair. My job is to help customers excel and become a better version of themselves, for what I know I can provide value. Hello canna-friends (and the rest of you too), As you may know, I help run a small cannabis company in MA, 617 THC . For the past year, we've been primarily focused on raising capital, gaining licenses (retail and cultivation) and creating a solid revenue stream at our first store in the Dorchester section of Boston. We're now almost ready to bring our first cultivation crop to market, pending final CCC approval to commence commercial operations, i/e. selling all the weed we've been growing, harvesting and preparing for sale for the past 5 months. The first grow at a new cultivation is quite the ride, IYKYK, amirite fellow cultivators? We've grown, harvest and made ready for sale nearly 400 lbs. of really fine cannabis, with early test results showing strong results in the high 20s with high terps to match. We're initially going to bring 7 strains to market in the next month or so, and now we're starting to look at selling strategies for monetizing all that lovely weed. For our first harvest, and being that as a start up we're cash poor, we plan to seek a variety of channels of distribution, including selling our own flower at our own store, selling to other dispensaries in the state, and selling bulk to white-label and co-packer operations. This includes some really strong A buds, Endless Shake and great preliminary numbers on test results, even with the new testing rules around moisture content. Selling branded 3.5s etc wholesale via a sales team or third party distributor is one path we'll follow asap. But that's an expensive upfront proposition. So we're probably looking to sell up to 300 lbs via bulk sales in the coming month or 2 until we have the cash to stand up a true packaging and wholesale sales operation. We have some interested parties for our bulk bud already, but I'm curious to get a broader sense of the "quality bud" bulk market now in MA. So bottom line, you bulk flower/shake buyers and sellers out there: what's the market looking like to you today?
