Today is International Day of Sign Languages. Thank you PrideLab for organizing a human library session that highlighted: - The intersectional nature of identities, with a focus on disability (deafness) and transgender - Implications such as the need of equitable access to healthcare services (or the lackthereof) for marginalized groups in Hong Kong. In this case, it is sign interpretaters who are a) well-trained and professional b)with an understanding of LGBT+ vocabs What could workplaces potentially do to fill the gap?
