Key points from our analysis: - The policy aims to fuel positive AI innovation and growth in a safe, ethical manner - It provides structure for the public sector's longstanding use of AI services - Implementation will be crucial, particularly in embedding the policy into operational models - Engaging with leading tech consulting firms and suppliers is essential for technology-level implementation - There's a need for widespread AI upskilling across various sectors - Orgs should collaborate rather than operate in silos when implementing this policy Our board, comprising Australia's top AI leaders, sees this as a refreshing approach.
