The only way our system of government will work to solve this, or any other problem is through cooperation and compromise at the state and federal levels and between both parties. Neither party can have it their way completely, both parties must give up something that they want, it must be a bipartisan solution. Politicians in both parties and on both sides of this issue have the knowledge, skill, experience, opportunity, responsibility and power to fix this problem. They all know how to make cooperation and compromise and bipartisanship work, that is their job and they do it every day. The issue at the border has gone on too long and both parties are to blame for not cooperating and reaching a compromised bipartisan solution. The time for finger pointing to stop is now. The time for a meaningful solution is now. This is an American problem, which was not caused by either party, but which must be solved by both parties working together. To all politicians in both parties, no more excuses, please do your jobs, solve this problem in bipartisan fashion and then move on to the next mission. That is why you were elected.

CEO at Sovereign, Commercial Real Estate Sales and Development & COO John Bradshaw Media Group. I am ethical, analytical, intuitive, think-outside-the-box problem solver, deal maker, protective of my principals.

I am Texan. My forefathers legally immigrated to Texas in 1848. I believe deeply in the fundamental goodness, spirit and willpower of Texans. In 1836, at the Alamo and Goliad, Texas troops, with the help of other heroes from other states, fought the war with Mexico to gain its sovereignty. A Texas border was established. The “leadership“ in Washington DC has no moral right to require our borders to be open. It is cruel or evil that Biden and the Democrats encouraged the invasion through our southern states. It’s conservatively estimated that close to 10 million people have crossed the borders since Biden gained office, including getaways, and an alarming percentage of gang members, drug dealers, terrorists, human traffickers, sex traffickers, murderers and criminals. This is now a United States problem, and not just Texas’. I am grateful to the 25 the states who reached out in support & who have sent law-enforcement to support Texas to help control the situation at the Texas Border. I’m very disappointed in our President, the Democrats and the Rhinos. My advice is to Washington is to back off. We have a well established immigration policy that’s not perfect, but works a hell of a lot better than what is happening since Biden took office. The new bill that Washington Democrats propose reduces the number of allowed “immigrants“ to 5000 a day. It’s a nice reduction but it’s still another 1,800,000 into our country. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this issue
