Advantages of Polypropylene Powder: · Lightweight: The low density of polypropylene makes it easy to handle and transport. · Good Mechanical Properties: While it has lower impact resistance compared to some other plastics, its overall mechanical strength is superior to that of polyethylene. · High Heat Resistance: Continuous use temperatures can reach 110-120 °C, making it suitable for high-temperature applications. · Chemical Stability: PP is resistant to a wide range of chemicals and does not absorb moisture, ensuring longevity in various environments. · Non-Toxic: Polypropylene is safe for food contact and does not release harmful substances. Why do we in #Egypolymers_Egypt believe that #polyurethane is a better choice for the #eco_system and the future of #mother_earth #Polyurethane accounts for only 2% or less of all #waste detected in #ocean surveys, whereas over 95% of #plastics in the #oceans are #thermoplastics #Polyurethane materials generally #last_longer than popular thermoplastic equivalents, #minimizing_waste at the source. The #advantage of employing #PUs to replace #synthetic plastics (such as polystyrene, polyvinyl, and synthetic rubbers) or natural #polymers is undeniable. There is the potential to #utilize_bio_sourced_polyols, #reducing the #environmental_impact of #PU and rendering these polymers greener compared to their fossil-based plastic counterparts. In addition, #polyurethane_does_not_need_a_specialist_recycling_facility.
