Are continuous chest compressions with sustained inflations better than a 3:1 traditional compression to ventilation ratio in neonatal resuscitation in those > 28 weeks? https://lnkd.in/gjvGNJfj #neonatal #nicu #resuscitation #nrp #respiratorycare #pediatrics

I have only one trial in severely asphyxiated baby outcome of urgent cs delivery due to placental abraptio in the early morning as I was alone during resuscitation using CPAP =peep12 with continuous CC for 120 seconds , the results was return to spontaneous circulation and immediately given normal saline 40cc /kg over 30min that continue during transfer to active cooling, luminal loading given at the beginning of cooling, 2 wks later the baby had breast feeding with good suckling, at one month MRI brain feeeee,I was very happy 😊
