IMEKO supports the 4th International Conference on Digital Calibration Certificates (DCC) on 27-29 Feb 2024. It is a free online event. Metrology institutes and calibration laboratories worldwide are establishing DCCs and related technologies instead of analogue certificates/reports. Automatically running tests, quality certificates that can be retrieved anywhere in the world and quickly developed assessment methods for new products - digitalisation offers enormous potential for the quality infrastructure (QI) to streamline and accelerate processes. Therefore, establishing DCC for metrology is just one piece of the larger puzzle that forms the digital QI of the future. The DCC Conference will, for the fourth time, bring together people from around the world to discuss machine-readable data and metadata in the scientific and quality infrastructure. The conference is free of charge for speakers and listeners, open for everybody and completely online/virtual. Another step towards accommodating #LEO-PNT Measurements in #RINEX format. Last Monday, during the first session of the recent #IGS Workshop 2024 hosted at the University of Berne, our CTO, Miquel Garcia-Fernandez presented what could be a first #proposal on this important topic. The proposal aims at ensuring consistency in LEO-PNT data across IGS products delivered in RINEX format, fostering greater collaboration and innovation across the #industry, #academia, and other relevant #stakeholders. To make this initiative more #robust, we are seeking your input. We invite you to provide feedback on possible implementation alternatives, possible "no-gos" for the proposed format and share use cases that could benefit from this extension.
