New Partnership is the New Leadership! I am thrilled to share another great example of how new horizontal collaborations can support us in deploying intermodal rail solutions that contribute to building sustainable transport systems. This success in collaborative approaches among transport buyers started with INDITEX, as previously shared. This confirms that we have opportunities to further explore and leverage such transformative business approaches. Now, we have deployed a new rail solution on the Poland-Austria corridor. This has been achieved together with another shipper and WENZEL Logistics. We have started with two train departures and are already looking to add a third one! This effort enables us to shift an additional 4,000 loads from road to rail, saving 2,300 tons of CO2 yearly. I also want to highlight the crucial role of the human factor in making this happen. Electric JAC TRUCKS spotted running around Sydney delivering for IKEA via delivery partner ANC Delivers. When IKEA announced their plans for zero emission deliveries by 2025 back in 2019 it seemed like a long way off. As of November 2024, IKEA and its delivery partners achieved 60% zero emission deliveries, making Australia the seventh most electrified IKEA fleet in the world.

THE UNITED KINGDOM, OCTOBER 2024: NEXT FOSSIL-FUEL FREE REGION IN THE IKEA TRANSPORT NETWORK, -4000 TONS OF CO2 We are happy to include the United Kingdom (representing around 24.000 full truckload yearly) to the list of countries where no fossil fuels are used to transport IKEA goods domestically! As of October, all the domestic transportation will be fueled by HVO100. Parallel to this, wherever possible, out partners will provide two-meters-longer trailers (“LST”, length of 15,65m), which will help to both save in all respects, and take away the proportional part of the truck movements from the UK roads. And, already some years ago, all container transports from the ports moved to railway. As the next step towards zero emission transportation, plans for deployment of electric HDVs are being finalized with first units in place within next 8-12 months. Long lasting efforts, hard work and close collaboration have been the keys to this success. As delivery vehicles are a major contributor to air and noise pollution as well as to congestion in cities, IKEA India🇮🇳 has committed to transitioning to #zeroemission delivery vehicles. IKEA defines 'zero-emission vehicles’ by specifically referring to emissions from the tank-to-wheel perspective. This means they are considering only the CO2 emissions generated while the vehicle is in operation, starting from the fuel in the tank and the vehicle's tailpipe emissions. (This does not include emissions a/w production-distribution of fuel in this context - which in my view is a fair & fabulous start !) IKEA, is committed to source 100% renewable electricity by 2025 across Ingka Group operations, where today already 74.2% (FY22) of the electricity they use comes from #renewable sources. They are committed to cutting #greenhouse gas emissions in all stages of their value chain. As a result, Ingka Group, the biggest IKEA franchisee – is aiming for 100% of their deliveries globally, to be done by electric vehicles (#EV) or other zero-emission solutions by 2025. And they are on their way to reaching their #goals: Since they started this journey in 2017 to have zero-emission deliveries, they have doubled their Electric Vehicle (EV) fleet each year globally, with an exception for FY22. They aimed to have 20% zero-emission deliveries in India by 2023. During 2023, they reached almost 51%. 96 EVs and 30 electric tuk-tuks are currently on the roads in India(as on Sept'2023) #Ikea methodology for achieving zero-emission deliveries in India involves: ♻️Setting clear and achievable targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions within the delivery fleet. ♻️Identifying and adopting technologies and fuels suitable for #India's infrastructure. ♻️Collaborating closely with local authorities, partners, and communities to create an enabling environment for zero-emission #logistics. ♻️Regularly monitoring and transparently reporting progress to ensure accountability. Shanghai is the 1st city to reach the goal🥇Ikea is managing more than 900 daily home deliveries using ONLY electric vehicles to make all home deliveries. EV's are also deployed in Australia, France and India, with more countries on the way. At the same time, customers’ shopping behaviour is moving towards #ecommerce with ‘here & now deliveries’ leading to a negative impact on air and life quality. Ingka Group operates IKEA stores in 30 countries. Today, 93% of Ingka Group stores have EV charging points for customers and are on track to providing charging stations to customers & co-workers in all Ingka Group touchpoints. The target is to halve relative emissions from co-workers and customers by #2030. Reaching 100% zero emissions for last-mile home delivery is one of many steps towards meeting their climate targets and contributing to the elimination of #globalwarming.
