You are not “behind”. Your graph just looks different from the next person's. While building Fanbytes this was something I struggled with in the early days. I’d read TechCrunch and see these incredible entrepreneurs selling their companies. Or other, more mature agencies winning awards and major campaigns. And it was very easy to get caught up in the, “I’m behind, I need to catch up” mentality. However, once I understood that these people: - Had been doing it longer - Had different circumstances to me - Had different journeys to me It became very easy to let go. So I urge you, if you’re looking around and thinking “I’m behind, I need to catch up.” Take a step back and accept that your journey looks a little different to theirs.
