Meeting Mastery Tip #52 Choose an appropriate room for your meetings. There are two things to consider - windows and temperature. If you are seeking ideas, or blue sky thinking, choose a room with windows. More ideas are generated in rooms where people can gaze out, than rooms which have no windows. Secondly, choose a room where the temperature can be adjusted so it is cooler - not warmer. In short, the higher the temperature, the higher likelihood that the meeting will go on longer, be less productive and have more conflict. For more detail, see Tip #26.
