We're proud to continue our tradition of featuring #ProductHeroes and celebrate their achievements and moments of pride. This week, we're hosting Itay Dror, Head of Product at BeeHero, an incredible partner for us at Entor. It is such a unique pleasure to work with this bright product leader, with insights sweet as honey! 🐝 🍯 (Not too funny. We know. 🤐) Give it up for Itay! ⭐️ Proudest moment as a product leader "That moment, after you tried time and again to deliver what you think your customers need the most, and you enter the office, look at the dashboard, and suddenly realize that something "ticked" in engagement." ⭐️ Personal North Star Metric for Product Impact "The 'strict' metric usually ends in measuring the engagement of some sort, because this is the best direct way to measure the value that the product provides, but for me a question that is just as important, even though a bit 'softer' is: 'Does it impact the outcome?'. Often it helps us focus and drive great discussions." ⭐️ Secret Weapon for Product Management Knowledge "Unfortunately, no secret weapons here. The usual podcasts (mostly in Hebrew) and newsletters (first and foremost Marty Cagan, but also the great Noa Ganot!). And just as important, picking other great and experienced Product Leaders brains."

For any of my network in Product Mgmt or anyone in Platform Engineering I highly recommend listening to Shane Parrish's The Knowledge Project podcast (episode #175) with Shreyas Doshi talking about his learnings as one of the first product managers at Stripe. Lots resonated here.... 1. The importance of talent agency, and cultivating high agency. How high agency talent should be prepared to step outside "the process" (think Day Two) to influence product outcomes. 2. The shift toward a writing culture for ideas rather than "everything a a slide deck" approach to unlock organisation clarity (think AWS '6 Pager'). He talks about the challenges that were faced in implementing the approach (some lacked experience in framing the problem) but also the benefits, particularly, that everyone has a voice - not just the privileged presenter of a slide deck in a boardroom. With the right level of support/coaching, the technique can also develop the ability to frame problems with a ubiquitous understanding of business drivers. For example, engineers being able to articulate the business outcomes for a technical recommendation. 3. Lastly, leveraging leading and lagging indicators but also in the early days it's just as much about sense-making positive progress. I'm selling this podcast short. There's so much more.... Go listen. :-) #productmgmt #platofrmengineering #cloudtalent #culture #productmindset

Product coach: discovery, metrics and experimentation for trios and product teams 👉 Decision making with data, evidence, insights 👈 1:1 coach for Lead & Senior Product Managers | Miss Impact Mapping | Speaker | Maker
I've found a name! A name for the spontaneous conversations that I've been recording and sharing with you. No edits. (Almost) no cuts. No make up haha. And no prepared questions. Just open, genuine conversations that I keep having. 👉 I decided to call this "Product Nerds Uncut". Because that's exactly what it is. Two product people nerding on product management stuff. TYPICALLY it works like this: . I have a regular call with someone. Just because I like meeting new people and talking to friends. . We talk. In German or English. . When it gets interesting I scream "STOOOOP!" . I ask if they are ok if we record this so that I can share it with you folks. Because the conversation is sooo interesting. So far only 1 person said "better not". Everyone else said yes. I'm blessed to know so many great product people and leaders. People who do the actual work. And I am happy I can share the conversations with you that we have. So I have 6 recordings in the pipeline that I haven't shared with you yet. And now that I have a YouTube channel (yes! crazy isn't it?!) I will continue sharing them with you. Next week there will be a new...episode? No. It's not an episode. In the end it's not a podcast. How would you call it then? Anyways... Next week there will be a new one. The difference being that for THAT one we had scheduled a call because we wanted to talk about a specific topic. Stay tuned, get surprised. For those who don't know what I mean, here's one episode that I had recorded with Chris Compston when he explained to me what Product Ops does: https://lnkd.in/eyuWD2nN Enjoy! #productmanagement #BCnoBSprodmgmt #ProductOps #ProductNerdsUncut
