Empowering Organisation and Individual Transformation through Strategic Change, Continuous Listening, and Dynamic Facilitation

Attending the World HR Congress 2024 back in May was an eye-opening experience, filled with profound insights and thought-provoking questions on the future of organizational development and HR. Reflections 🔄 Change is the only constant. Mindset and adaptability is key to thrive in this BANI world In our everyday life, we are always faced with changes. Changes in route due to traffic conditions, change in plans due to unforseen circumstances. More often than not,we are able to stomach these changes and be flexible to adapt to changes.Organisation change is the simply another type of change that we should be prepared to adapt to. To be a high performing organisation, we need to normalise change and instill resilience in our people. Culture fit is 🔑 The most brilliant of minds may not be brilliant in my organisation. In this pragmatic world, people often pin on recruiting the most talented person based on his/her track record. At organisation level, we need to ensure we hire for culture fit and be intentional in who we select as managers. Organisation before team before individual. 💯Place emphasis on psychological safety What we do matters, but HOW we do things matters equally, if not more. We often hear people talking about psy safety but little is done to address this. It takes two hands to clap. If organisation wants their staff to adapt to changes and go beyond their job roles and expectation, priority should be placed on this area so that people can freely express their opinions in a constructive manner. 🤝Making Leadership Development an integral part of work Developing leadership capacity across all levels of the organization is crucial.People want to, but often do not have time to attend courses because of work. How we ensure that leadership development becomes ingrained in the fabric of our work culture? 🤔Leverage on AI The question of whether AI will replace humans in jobs continues to loom large. But perhaps the more pertinent question is: How can we harness AI to enhance human potential and creativity within organizations? I'm eager to delve deeper into these questions and insights with fellow professionals in the field. Let's continue the conversation and drive positive change together! #HR #OrganizationalDevelopment #FutureOfWork #Leadership #EmployeeEngagement #whrc2024
