While a Michels Power, Inc. crew was pulling wire on a jobsite in Connecticut, a crew member spotted a person on one of the poles. The man had apparently climbed the pole with the intention of harming himself. All work was immediately stopped and two crew members climbed the pole and belted off the area around the man to protect him from falling or making contact with the energized line. Meanwhile, others used a bucket truck to approach and calm the man, eventually using the bucket to bring him safely back to the ground where he was attended by the police and taken to the hospital. We applaud the team for their quick thinking and the safe, methodical steps they took to help a person in need. #Michels #CoreValuesInAction
