Few things piss me off more than publications and platforms reaching out to me, promising to give me "Most Influencial Blah Blah" Award if I pay for it!! A result of this 'fraud' is that I have stopped respecting anyone who receives such Awards, as the first thing that naturally comes to my mind is they or their organizations would have paid for it. This is such a pathetic trend. I know one can buy pretty much anything in the world today.
