Just finished the course “Certification Prep: SHRM-CP”

Consistency is key! 🟡Flashcard Frenzy: Quizlet flashcards were my secret weapon! It is important to be intentional about your strategy and plan when it comes to DEI. Many organizations may inadvertently exclude those who are disabled from their DEI performance metrics and often we forget the importance of ensuring that training is inclusive. This course provided some additional information and resources that I am excited to add to my arsenal.

We're back at it with part 4 of our blog series on our experience with the SPHR exam: Accommodations and Exam Day. I found there was both too much and not enough information about what to expect on exam day (too much that didn't help-- like outdated information, and not enough about process and details). This was the topic for all the grant pros who attended the Scala & Associates sponsored session 'Considering Subcontracting as a Grant Professional? You Better be Prepared!’. What began as a Grant Professionals Association published news article in 2017, has since transformed into a stimulating and honest conversation about the early considerations and red flags for grant professionals when working with another firm's client. Real-life subcontracting scenarios anchored the presentation -- the good, the bad, and the ugly.
