First successful test of the new Surefyre Laser Design ltd in-house created microcontroller completed! It really doesn't help when the datasheet numbers i/o ports starting at 0 then going 1,2 3, 6, 7 and the dev IDE numbers the ports 1-6. Now that I soldered the LED connector to the right port and gave it the right number in the code it works 🤣 Will be embedding these little chaps into illuminated signage initially as LED controllers but they can do pretty much anything as long as the code fits into the chip's memory. The push-button on the side allows for control/on-off/program changes - think Xmas tree lights

This is one of those "things that never were" but this chronicles development of a phono amplifier product that we looked at doing years ago. Unfortunately, a key component that was critical to achieving super low noise performance (The BF862 JFET) went obsolete in the middle of it, and so suitable replacement could be found. The closest JFETS to it noise wise drew like 4X the current, which was a problem because the design had like 10 of them per channel, in parallel, and on top of that, they were Microphonic. Which is wild. Who would have thought that JFETS were microphonic? https://lnkd.in/gnKtKP_W

Backplane refers to the 'back' of the display plane that contains circuits operating the screen. Its structure and materials variation affect factors such as display resolution (central to the image quality of a display) and power consumption affecting the duration of use of a mobile device. Let's explore how the backplane is composed. Click here for more details on the backplane: https://lnkd.in/edawquCg #SamsungDisplay #LearnDisplay #Backplane #SamsungOLED

I'm so Excited to announce The Final Project of Interfacing 1 With D-BUGERZ: Smart Treadmill using AVR Atmega32 :) ! The project is about how to use AVR microcontroller to Control Treadmill with some additional Features. * Explanation of project * --------------------------- First the PIR Sensor wait to detect the person and when the sensor detects that there is a person near to the treadmill, the Timer Starts and the motor works at the lowest speed as an initialization for the treadmill. there are four switches to control the features of the treadmill: 1- Increase Motor Speed: Used to increase the speed of the treadmill 2- decrease Motor Speed: Used to decrease the speed of the treadmill 3- Stop Treadmill: used to pause the treadmill (stop motor and the timer) 3- Resume Treadmill: used to Resume the treadmill (Resume motor and the timer with the last status) Components that used to build this Project: 🔹 Atmega32 microcontroller 🔹 Passive Infrared Sensors (PIR) 🔹 1 DC Motor 🔹 L293D Motor Driver 🔹 6 Digit 7 segment 🔹 7447 BCD TO 7 segment decoder 🔹 4 Push Buttons Finally, I must thank Eng/ Mahmoud Kafafy For his effort and advices which help me to build and implement this project. #D_BUGERZ #C_programming #Embedded_C #embeddedsystem #AVRinterfacing #smarttreadmill

I've already mentioned Riverdi new product based on STMicroelectronics #stm32u5g9 micro which is powerfull enough to smoothly run video on 800x480 display. Anyone attending embedded world Exhibition&Conference could check it in person. But what happens if you choose different, not graphic-oriented uC? For example #stm32h5 series which do not offer NeoChrom or even ChromArt HW acceleration. Is it possible to achieve satisfying results with limited performance? Of course it is and here is a proof. What you see on the video is STM32H5 #ST eval kit with Riverdi's 3.5" 320x480 IPS hat. This one run LVGL demo but of course #TouchGFX is also available! We are close to have a full kit ready in sales - we need few last touches and reliability tests before it all be ready to sit on embedded developers' desks. Few quick details: - 144 pin ST development kits compatible, - 3.5" #IPS display, - over 1000 cd/m2 brightness, - industrial #PCAP, - TouchGFX direct support. Display itself will be also available from Riverdi in two layouts - with and without touch panel!
