Absolutely! Unfortunately many IT Managers across the world are not empowered with the right Healthcare IT Managed Services technologies to protect Healthcare IT infrastructure, Healthcare IT workflows and enforcement of HIPAA compliance as well as many other health IT standards where Ghana is no exception. I personally used Paessler GmbH's world-class Healthcare IT Managed Services technology in Ghana since 2016 to gain visibility of Healthcare IT infrastructure/workflows but I realized more tools like Cyber Security/HIPAA compliance technologies like my friend(Robert Johnson, III)'s Cimtrak as well as Zero-Trust Cyber Security Architecture needed to be adopted so IT Managers particularly in Ghana could be empowered to protect Healthcare IT infrastructure and enforce HIPAA compliance. I will work together with the Ghana government, my local and international partners to get IT Managers on Ghana government payroll empowered to protect Healthcare IT infrastructure as well as IT infrastructure of all critical sectors of Ghana's economy by end of year. HIMSS Ghana community has more work to do. Cc: Maurice Acquah Amponsem, CAHIMS.

In the healthcare industry, the frequency of workplace violence incidents is alarming. In fact, healthcare workers are four times more likely to encounter violence than those in the private sector, with many contending with acts of violence every day. Healthcare organizations are increasingly using data to justify their workplace violence program budget. In this video, Mark Reed, Director of Campus Support Operations at the City of Hope, delves into how industry leaders leverage historical, incident-based data to justify their budgets during review cycles, committee meetings, and executive-level inquiries. https://lnkd.in/dJSiZjze
