Every year in the UK, over 30,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur, with less than 1 in 10 people surviving. We are on a mission to change these statistics by giving as many people as possible the confidence and skills to perform CPR when it matters most. Last week, we had the incredible opportunity to visit Microsoft at their sales and tech summit to showcase RevivR. During the event, around 200 Microsoft employees were trained in lifesaving CPR and defibrillation through our Team RevivR sessions. In just a half hour, teams learned what to expect when calling 999, how to perform effective chest compressions and how to use a defibrillator. It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm and commitment by the Microsoft staff to becoming lifesavers and we’re looking forward to continue working with Microsoft to support their staff in learning these lifesaving skills!
