When selecting a cryostat for research, factors such as temperature range, stability, cooling mechanism, and sample requirements must be considered. Both wet and dry research cryostats have their own advantages; for example, using a wet cryostat tends to have a lower initial cost and faster cooldown, while dry cryostats lend themselves to longer run times and have lower operating costs. There are multiple factors to weigh in the choice of sample environment type. A cryostat with sample in vacuum can be configured for use in small spaces, and has a simpler optical configuration, but sample in exchange gas may be a better choice for samples with poor thermal conductivity, or where high sample throughput is needed. https://lnkd.in/dT_86CTV Plastic + microplastic = Ocean Killers. 1. Both have detrimental environmental impact: Microplastics are tiny plastic particles that are less than : .05mm in size. These particles easily enter aquatic ecosystems by ablating anytfoul paunt on your boat and can have a severe impact on marine life. Biocide antifoul contaiin microplastics that leach into the water and affect marine organisms. This ultimately leads to the alteration of the ecological balance, leading to the decline in marine biodiversity. 2. Both cause major Health impact: Microplastics in biocide antifou have a severe impact on human health. As these particles enter aquatic ecosystems, they can enter the food chain, and ultimately end up in human food. This can lead to ingestion of health-threatening substances, ultimately leading to serious health issues such as cancer and hormonal changes. Stop it at COP.

Studying eddy covariance? Recently, one researcher decided to compare his traditional eddy covariance measurements with the LI-710 Evapotranspiration Sensor. Rosvel Bracho-Garillo, a PI at the University of Florida, praised the sensor’s accurate evapotranspiration measurements, low maintenance, and excellent technical support team. Bracho-Garillo hopes that other researchers will follow suit, using the LI-710 for better ET measurements and improved water balance projections for their communities. See the MARKUS (Radon in soil instrument) in action on this article!
Radonova works hard to produce the most advanced radon detectors. So it is always good to see researchers using our instruments in the field. An example is the work of J. Kastlander et al: https://buff.ly/3Hqat2S Citation: J. Kastlander, M. Aldener, A. Axelsson, T. Fritioff, C. Söderström, A. Ringbom, R. Purtschert, Measurement of radioxenon and radioargon in soil gas collected in the region of Kvarntorp, Sweden, Journal of Environmental Radioactivity, Volume 226, 2021. #RadonDetection #ScientificResearch #RadonovaInstruments

Lava Lamp Science Experiment. 𝐒𝐂𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐅𝐈𝐂 𝐅𝐔𝐍 𝐅𝐀𝐂 ✡: When the effervescent tablet dissolves in water, it produces carbon dioxide gas bubbles. These bubbles are less dense than the water, so they rise to the top. As they rise, they carry some of the colored water with them, creating the lava lamp effect. GOING TO THE RED PLANET: "The ISXRD instrument aims to eliminate the need for grinding and sifting, as these additional processes can sometimes cause the investigated sample to not be representative of the rock from which it actually came, which can affect the integrity of the results." You could solve this issue with diffuse coating or diffuse glass - uneven light inside of the greenhouse. What you see in the graph are PAR readings from 4 PAR sensors, located equally spaced diagonal in 4,5 x 8m greenhouse spot, between four columns, above the crop and lamps. The purple line sensor is located at the level of the plant head. It should be common knowledge, that not all plants in the greenhouse receive an equal amount of light, and this is one of the reasons why.
