Case Study Alert! We were appointed by Southern Water to carry out in-sewer temperature logging at 24 of their key sites. Client Requirements: The aim of this project was to sample and record the sewer temperatures to determine potential infiltration into the sewer network. This monitoring will span across a 3 year period, as part of a programme to seal public sewers, private laterals and manholes. The temperature sensors will measure the effectiveness of the sealing programme and thus change management plans and regulations in the future. IETG’s Solution: We developed and deployed the HawkEye Lite temperature logger and sensors into the designated sites. They log the temperature every 5 minutes and transit the data daily to a web platform, where Southern Water can see the live data.
