School may be out, but internships are in! Last week, we hosted a three-day intern experience, complete with networking opportunities, tours, panels and volunteer events. Seventy-five MidAmerican interns helped with three different CARES events at the end of the third day - removing weeds and cleaning toys at Conmigo Early Education Center, beautifying the playground at the The Blank Park Zoo and building over 70 bikes for underprivileged students with Variety, the Children's Charity. We are happy to support the future of the energy industry by continuing to host experiences like these! 💪

PART 2: HOW DO PASTORS RAISE UP PASTORS? WHERE TO BEGIN 9Marks: Starting with day one of your pastorate at Capitol Hill Baptist Church, you didn’t have an internship program. What little things did you start doing to help equip future pastors? https://shorturl.at/nvxK0

Philanthropy for us is about laying the foundations for a brighter future and embodying the change we want to see. It's about the responsibility we hold and the lives we touch. On Philanthropy Day this year we’re celebrating the growth of our "Make Success Happen" internship program. It's not simply an initiative; it's a commitment to nurturing potential where it's often overlooked—in economically challenged areas. We've seen firsthand that success isn't a matter of background but of mindset and determination. At AnA Sourcing, philanthropy is about thoughtful contributions that resonate with our core values. It's not about the accolades; it's about making a tangible impact and empowering individuals to "Make Success Happen," regardless of their starting point. #Empowerment #Philanthropy #MakeSuccessHappen #CommunityImpact

Project Manager & Market Research Intern @ MIKRODEV UK | CEO @ Discounted Gaming | Engineering Student
I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend. I felt the need to keep you guys updated: my exams are officially over!!! What do I have planned ahead for this summer? Well, among many things, I am really close to securing my internship, which I will provide more details on later. At this point, it’s down to the final few phone calls and an agreement. In terms of business ventures, I have officially hired an intern for my personal business, Discounted Gaming. My main aim is to teach what I have learned in over a year within a month so my intern can successfully grasp a diverse number of concepts within the field of marketing. I have a couple of volunteering activities on my schedule. Coming up soon, I will be climbing a mountain tomorrow to raise money for kids who have Down syndrome! Looking beyond the immediate future (1-3 months), I mentioned implicitly that I have an idea for a new business. I plan on beginning this venture as soon as I can saturate the online gaming business. I am also in the process of releasing a new product line and starting tournament sessions over the summer! Having goals in life, both short-term and long-term, is essential. What’s important is to ensure that your long-term goals are set in stone and your short-term goals are dedicated to achieving those long-term goals. My long-term goal? Well, Aristotle once said about Eudaimonia that it means to "do well and live well." In short, it means to fulfill your own personal capacity to its maximum, taking on every possibility to live up to your long-term goals. To achieve what there is and to not be narrow-minded. Let’s get it, summer! I look forward to the challenges ;)
