After 2 successful regional sports investment forums organized overseas in London and Milan, it was a pleasure to join the Middle East Sports Investment Forum (MESIF) for the Riyadh Forum that took place on 7th January at Ministry of #Investment HQ, inaugurated by HE Khaled Al Faleh, Minister of Investment, Eng. Abdulrahman Justaniah, Deputy Minister of Sport, Abdullah Aldubaikhi, Assistant Minister of Investment. https://lnkd.in/dvuvq3Ub Ministry of #Sport, Ministry of #Investment and #EY are the strategic founding partners for the forum which attracted local, regional and global sports industry leaders and executives from around the world to discuss the Saudi Journey to FIFA World Cup 2034, and the evolution of its ecosystem to be a regional hub for sports and major events. https://lnkd.in/du5Rvqhj I would like to thank the key stakeholders who enabled the success of the forum: - The influential leaders and dear friends from the government sector; Basim K. Ibrahim, Fahad AlSubaie CP3P-P, Abdullah AlRasheed, C-KPIP who sincerely supported the event to be an elite forum. - My fellow partners from #EY who supported this event; Waleed AlShubaili, Laurent Viviez, Pedro Daniel and our guest speaker Roger Duthie who charmed the speakers with his influential success stories with sponsors and sports clubs around the world. - Our fellow members of the advisory board of the forum; Trevor Watkins, Chris Lencheski, Aphrodite Moschoudi and Lama Alfozan on their invaluable support to secure the high-profile speakers and moderate the key panels. - The dedicated organizers; Maximilian Lejman and Aleks Georgiev, MBA. who worked days and nights to pull together another elite event with the focus on the quality, and not the quantity of speakers and participants. I had the pleasure to moderate the opening panel discussion on "The Path to FIFA World Cup 2034" and co-moderated the "Closed VIP Executives Roundtable" with esteemed sports leaders and executives. I will share the highlights of each session in separate posts. Looking forward to MESIF's flagship event in London, hosted at the iconic stadium of Tottenham Hotspurs FC as a strategic event partner.
