I came across this article on the growing importance of soft skills in the workplace, and it really resonated with changes we’ve made to our MBA program. To address this evolving need, we’ve introduced a new focus on soft skills through the lens of applied innovation. From day one, our students engage in problem solving, collaboration, and creative thinking, honing the skills that matter most to employers today. This shift ensures our graduates not only excel in business strategy but also in leadership, communication, and adaptability. #SoftSkills #Leadership #Innovation #MBA #FutureLeaders

Are you looking to land your first engineering position but not sure how to prepare for a role in this industry? We've curated a list of recommendations that will assist in preparing yourself for the hiring process and establishing yourself in today's engineering industry. 1. Internships are always a great way to gain experience when entering the workforce with little to no on-the-job experience and interviewing for entry-level positions. Internships allow you to gain work experience and build relationships with firms and companies. 2. Dedicate time to building a robust LinkedIn profile. Potential employers often review your LinkedIn profile in addition to your resume. Ensure that your profile has the following: ✔️ A great photo. ✔️ A cover image. ✔️ A compelling and relevant 'About Me' section that highlights your goals and strengths. ✔️ Include in your experience section any internships completed while in school. ✔️ Make sure you add your skills and achievements to your profile. 3. Start networking. 👉 Network within your university community at their hosted events. 👉 Network at local events in your city. 👉 Network on LinkedIn. On LinkedIn, you can attend virtual events and connect with your school community, local groups and organizations, and other industry professionals. Other networking opportunities include attending job fairs, industry conferences, and engineering events. These are great opportunities that can get you face time with engineering professionals, too! 4. Focus on soft skills. Showcasing your ability to carry a great conversation and communicate effectively will ensure you stand out. 💬 5. Stay up to date on industry trends. Knowing the latest trends and upcoming changes, like code updates and changes, highlights how you can be an asset to a team. We are always looking for new talent. If you are a current engineering student or a recent graduate, learn more about joining the team! https://lnkd.in/gg6r-2uX
