Clinical Director and Nurse Practitioner Midi Health Certified Menopause Provider Certificate of Advanced Education in Obesity Medicine

Every time I teach pathophysiology (which is often) and we get to the endocrine module, I tell my students that if I hadn't gone into OB/GYN I would have absolutely gone into endocrinology. I have always found hormones fascinating, but also have had such a passion for women's health, leading me to spend the majority of my career in traditional OB/GYN care. How cool is it that I now get to spend my days focusing on Women's Health with a special focus on hormone health, combining my two favorite areas as the Clinical Director with Midi Health. As I prep to record an updated diabetes lecture, I started poking into some information about menopause and diabetes. Imagine my surprise when I found that the American Diabetes Association not only recommends that women with diabetes talk to their providers about menopause, they acknowledge that menopause isn't typically talked about at routine visits. I am so proud to work with a company that fills this void in a comprehensive and convenient setting. Joanna Strober, Kathleen Jordan, MD and Mindy Goldman we are improving health in so many ways! https://lnkd.in/g5DWczij
