We will be bringing together key stakeholders from across the supply chain sector to develop the first and only UK centre within the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Global SCALE Network. Leveraging our expertise in the circular economy and digitalisation, we want to help revolutionise the future of supply chain thinking and practice to build a better, more sustainable world for everyone.

But the heart of the UK Supply Chain Excellence Centre is actually working with practice and what we'd really like to do is to work with those industrial partners to really understand their supply chain strategies and their challenges, and by doing so we can then tailor our offering to fit. The reason why they're center is so important is because the UK is a small island, so we have to think very, very carefully about how we ensure that everybody in our country has access to the things that they need, when they need them at a price that they can afford. And what a better place to start than the Midlands engine, which is at the heart of the country. If supply chains are going to become more efficient, they need to develop their skills and this center is ideally set up to deliver it and business needs. Reach out to this centre and work with it in order to improve their productivity and make themselves better businesses. If we're gonna do this, we have to do it together, our policymakers, our industrialists and our academics. This supports the vision of Love Through Business School, which is all about ensuring together we progress with purpose.
📣 In September 100s of The King's Awards for Enterprise recipients from the Midlands will assemble for the first time – a powerful network of innovative businesses and a springboard for future collaboration and initiatives to benefit our whole region.
🏆 The Midlands is home to a staggering 181 #KingsAwards for Enterprise recipients – more than any other region outside London and the South East.
🤝 The inaugural Assembly of the Midlands King’s Awards Network #MKAN will bring together not only awards recipients, but also those aspiring for an award - an opportunity to connect with winners and share success.
The day will also feature in-depth panel discussions from business leaders from across the 4 award categories:
