At Midnight Sun Wellness, we believe in debunking grief myths to foster true healing. Myth: You need to “be strong” during loss. Fact: It’s perfectly normal to feel sad, frightened, or lonely. Crying isn’t a sign of weakness; it’s a natural part of grieving. Expressing your true feelings can be therapeutic for you and supportive for your loved ones. Meet Kubra Sansarlioglu, Registered Provisional Psychologist at Midnight Sun Wellness. With years of experience, I've helped many navigate the complexities of grief and loss. Let's embark on your healing journey together. #GriefSupport #HealingJourney #MentalWellness #GriefAwareness #EmotionalSupport #TherapeuticJourney #CompassionateTherapy #SupportiveCare #GriefRecovery #MidnightSunWellness

Unspoken Grief: The Importance of Timely Healing ! 🛑 Have you ever wondered why certain memories resurface years later? We've all experienced unspoken grief and trauma, managing our emotions in silence because of societal norms or circumstances. These unprocessed emotions don't just disappear; they embed themselves in our bodies and minds, waiting to resurface. I remember holding my mother's death certificate, a moment shrouded in shock and daze. It's a memory stored deep within me, one that resurfaced 10-15 years later. Why does this happen? Because unprocessed trauma remains within us. Why timely healing is crucial:- Impact on Decision-Making:- Trauma/Greif shape our choices. Without healing, we're often held back, unable to fully move forward. Long-Term Effects:- Unresolved grief can affect us decades later, influencing our lives in ways we might realize lot latter. Personal Growth:- Healing allows us to break free from the past, empowering us to handle challenges differently. A coach might offer solutions to move ahead, but unless we address and heal our internal wounds, we'll always have something holding us back. Imagine the different paths we could have taken if we weren't broken at those critical moments or let grief hold us so much! Think about it, sit with it to heal ,and if needed take help to process! 🌟 Take action today: Heal, Grow, and Thrive. 🌟 #MentalHealth #HealingJourney #Grief #PersonalGrowth #EmotionalWellness #SelfImprovement #MindBodyConnection #EshaJain #LinkedInedu 𝙹𝚘𝚒𝚗 𝚞𝚜, 𝚠𝚎 𝚝𝚎𝚊𝚌𝚑 𝚜𝚕𝚘𝚠𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚍𝚘𝚠𝚗 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚏𝚊𝚜𝚝-𝚙𝚊𝚌𝚎𝚍 𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚕𝚍!

Have you truly acknowledged your grief, or have you been silently carrying it? As a trauma therapist specialising in nervous system regulation, I know that grief can be overwhelming, but healing begins with acknowledgment. Reflect on what you’re grieving—whether it's the loss of a loved one, a missed opportunity, or even a part of your identity. Allow yourself to feel the emotions without judgement. Start by journaling your thoughts and feelings. Writing can be a powerful tool to explore and reframe your grief, creating space for healing. And finally, create rituals that honour your loss. Whether it’s lighting a candle, visiting a special place, or writing a letter to your past self, these rituals can bring meaning and comfort during difficult times. How do you honour your grief? Share your thoughts or rituals in the comments, or reach out if you’re ready to explore your grief in a supportive space. Healing begins with acknowledgement. #traumahealing #mentalhealth #selfcare #recovery #holistichealing #emotionalintelligence

"As Long as there is love, there will be grief The grief of time passing, of life moving on half-finished, of empty spaces that were once bustling with the laughter and energy of people we loved. As long as there is love there will be grief because grief is love's natural continuation. It shows up in the aisles of stores we once frequented, in the half-finished bottle of wine we pour out, in the whiff of cologne we get two years after they've been gone. Grief is a giant neon sign, protruding through everything, pointing everywhere, broadcasting loudly, "Love was here." In the finer print, quietly, "Love still is." " Heidi Priebe Beautifully written by Heidi. How has your experience of grief honoured the love you hold? Share your stories below. September 27 is National Day of Forgiveness to encourage us to develop realistic methods for incorporating forgiveness in our lives. Forgiveness is a potent tool on a journey of spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical health. #NationalDayOfForgiveness The act of forgiveness is powerful. But, granting forgiveness is more than an act - it's a process. Forgiveness teaches us about ourselves as much as it teaches us about others. Whether a person suffers from mental or emotional pain, grief, or trauma, forgiveness can set us on a path of healing. Forgiveness can also develop into a practice that teaches us to value compassion, kindness, and love.

Grief is more like a scribble than a straight line. Grief is messy. Grief waits. Finding the ways we can live wthe messiness of the scribble can be extremely challenging. I believe that the trick to navigating grief to be recognizing that it truly does signify the importance of the relationship that you had with that person or that thing that you are grieving. There’s no shame in asking for help if you are struggling with your brain health and reconciling the thoughts and feelings associated with grief. #grief #griefsupport #griefawareness
