I see too many generic "Funding ask" slides: "We are raising xxx to:" - Validate PMF - Finish our MVP - Fast track GTM - Hire salespeople - Extend our runway - Drive user acquisition - Test new marketing channels It's 2024 and nobody cares about this! Nobody wants to spend money on experiments unless you are Sam Altman. It's all about the 💲💲💲!!! You need to be specific! "We are raising xxx to:" - Go from 30K MRR to 100K MRR in 12M - Hire 3 more SDR/AE to expand into xxxx Investors want to understand exactly how their money is working, how it is helping you scale faster.
