Term of the week: Soak Testing What is it? Well, Soak Testing is making sure your game or product is responding and operating properly when under a designed load. These are crucial for discovering major issues like memory leaks, before they become a bigger problem for the dev team. While it can be time consuming, it is important to run your software in ways your dev team might not have during development, to guarantee someone dropping 8 hours in a game won't start experiencing crashes because their RAM has filled up with recursive code. Now you know what to say if it's brought up at your next interview! #Gaming #GamesIndustry #QA #Tester #GameDesign

Halloween season 🎃 has me spooked by the scary bugs that sometimes sneak into code. They’re just like haunted houses, hiding in dark corners, ready to jump out and send shivers down your spine! 👻 🧛♂️ Ghost Bugs - These bugs don’t stay dead. Just when you think you’ve squashed them, they crawl back to life. It's our job to track them down and keep them from haunting our users. 🔍 Trick or Treat Testing - Every test can feel like knocking on a door, not knowing if you’ll get a treat (passing test) or a trick (a new issue to solve). But with each surprise, we get closer to a polished product! Let’s make sure our software is all treat and no trick! We’re on a mission to make Halloween fun, not frightening, for our users! 🕸️🍬 #Halloween #SoftwareQA #QualityAssurance #TechLife #SoftwareTesting #ExploratoryTesting #ManualVsAutomated #TestingTechniques #QA #softwaredevelopment #womenengineers #womenintech #softwareengineering #qaengineer #qaautomation #LifeOfATester

Happy Testers' Day to all my fellow QA heroes! 🎉🐞🧐 . . Today’s all about celebrating us—the ones who test every button, click every link, and turn every app into our personal playground. 😆 . . Did you know that Grace Hopper found the first bug on September 9, 1947, while testing the Mark II Calculator? That’s right—bugs have been a part of our tech adventure for a long time! 🐞 . . Let’s be real, we’re the folks who get a kick out of clicking random stuff, filling out forms with nonsense, and basically treating every app like it’s our mission to find its secrets. 😅 Our unofficial motto? ‘If it can be broken, we’ll find it!’ 🕵️♂️🔨 We’ve got the knack for making things go haywire and the patience to put them back together. We’re the behind-the-scenes crew who makes sure things don’t crash and burn. . . Here’s to all the late nights, endless test cycles, and those sweet victories when we squash those sneaky bugs.🧐🔍 . . So keep on testing, keep on breaking, and keep on laughing—because if we didn’t laugh, we’d probably just cry. 😂 . Cheers to us, the ultimate bug busters! 🥂💻 #TestersDay #WorldTestersDay #SQAEngineers #Testing #QARockstars #BugHunters #TestingLife #BreakItToFixIt #QALife #QALegends #TestingAndLaughs #ClickingEverything #QualityControl #BugSquad #BreakingForGood #ClickAllTheButtons #ClickClickBoom #WeBreakItSoYouDontHaveTo #BehindTheScenesHeroes #TechLaughs #QAFellows #SQA #Linkedin #Networking #SocialNetworking #KhizraIsrar
