Fans need to present a valid ticket to gain entry, ensuring that only those with legitimate tickets can access the stadium, and occupy their own seat. -Crowd Management: Turnstiles help regulate the flow of people entering the stadium, preventing overcrowding and ensuring a smooth and organized entry process. This is crucial for large events with high attendance. - Security Screening: Our modern turnstiles can be equipped with additional security features to enhance security. - Fast Access: The turnstiles read the club membership card (NFC, Barcode, QR, ...) for swift access. Analytics is great -- but you should also distill that into "what should I do" -- you need to apply the insights you've learnt from the data / analytics. I wonder whether he really applied these to all the penalties.

The data-driven cheat sheet for Pickford, the English goalkeeper, which told him which side each Swiss player usually shoots for during penalties, and what he should do, is already history for the data community. This should not work. You know where I typically shoot but so do I. Thus, it is all a game now of whether you are going to use the cheatsheet or not and whether I am going to be data-driven (will repeat the past) or algorithm-driven (have a strategy to deal with all this). #Algorithmization is the next big thing. And we have its most advanced platform 🎯

Data Science in sports ⚽️ ⚾️ This reminds me of the “Moneyball” movie, where data analysis transformed baseball. I’m not certain how much of the movie was accurate with real life, but Billy Beane used data analysis and statistics to make the Oakland A's a winning team. Now, as we can see in the picture, there’s no denying that England’s team guided their goalkeeper, Jordan Pickford, using data to maximize the probabilities of saving crucial penalties. The strategy was successful and crucial for England’s team to secure a spot in the Euro 2024 semifinals.
