3moThe CISO role has certainly become a balancing act. The breakdown of resiliency into four areas is very effective, but it also shows how much cybersecurity leaders are dealing with nowadays - it's a complete shift in mindset compared to what the position was not even five years ago. In this aspect, it's 'prioritizing people' that's really going to make a difference, but not only within their teams. CISOs also need to invest energy into developing relationships with high-level stakeholders to make sure they tangibly understand what's at risk. CISOs can do all they can to build a robust infrastructure, but resiliency will not be achieved without the buy-in from colleagues and the board. Interesting read!
