Should be blasted on all social media, pinged to all visitors to our islands. 3 drownings in the past 2 weeks! It's a numbers game and it sucks for families unaware. Our first responders risk their lives to prevent families from returning home without a loved one. It's so gorgeous to watch from afar, or the "Eddie" at Waimea bay on TV tomorrow. No-one should be near the shorelines...Issued: 12/21/2024, 04:00 AM HST Discussion An extended period of hazardous surf and beach conditions will persist into early next week along exposed north and west facing shores due to overlapping, winter-caliber north-northwest swells (315-330 degrees). The largest swell in the series is expected to arrive tonight, rapidly rise early Sunday, peak through the day Sunday, and then gradually ease Sunday night into early next week. Surf associated with this swell will remain well above warning levels through the weekend, then return to advisory levels for exposed north and west facing shores around Tuesday of next week. Seasonal surf will continue along south facing shores. Surf along east facing shores will remain small, with a slight upward trend possible early next week as the trades return. Forecast for Oahu/Kauai HIGH SURF WARNING FOR NORTH AND WEST FACING SHORES 40'-50' today and tomorrow...already going over roads...

Oh, Yes! I'm in trouble at work 🥲 While rounding up last year, I had a strategy meeting with our social media manager at Uvest on a new LinkedIn approach. If you didn't know, we are your one-stop weekly update for any real estate industry news on LinkedIn, but as the pacesetter that we are, we decided to take it a little further. And that's the trouble I put myself in. Instead of reporting just a groundbreaking real estate industry news that happened during the week, we decided to curate top news that is fit to be a headline from different Nigerian newspapers. We reported them in summaries so you can relate and understand what is happening in the real estate industry. So, instead of a long boring update, we will tell you about 5-10 important news in the industry. But guess who is on the internet from Sunday to Thursday surfing out news that would be reported? 🥲 To think I only read news on Twitter, now I'm researching 15+ Nigerian newspapers per week just to report accurate, timely, and relatable industry news. I'm not crying. 😭 But have you checked our page? Go to the Uvest page and read about the current happenings in real estate. 🤗 #RealEstate #IndustryNews #RealEstateNews #Uvest #Estate #IndustryUpdate #RealEstateIndustryNews

Almost 750,000 views on this effort of another day cleaning the jungle shores. It takes a mob to mobilise such efforts and by Sustainable Clean Lanka and Wave Riders®️ collaborating all I continue to see is blood hounds failing to credit those who run the gauntlet. On tsunami Remwmbrance Day we honoures a deceased man who had arguably the heaviest impact of complex PTSD. Manaf “Harry Baba” Moulana, the pioneer for tourism in the east of Sri Lanka for world surfers. The first to bring a motor vehicle with three or four wheels. The first with a mobile phone, the first son of who owned a laptop and provided internet. Yet another political rep in the second country trying to raise awareness of Wave Riders has run their mouth and claimed it as their own self-driven mission. If you fail to raise the issue to make a more honest resolution, you’re socially loafing and perpetuating the problem. It doesn’t take much to discredit original owners of digital media. Yet that small effort destroys the hopes of the little ones (Tumbi) for progressing in their authenticity, agency and self-determination. Whether you’re in corporate, small business, or an organization… Consider how you poach content like it’s the East Indies spice trade or a tusker’s ivory.
