This BBC documentary shows how few crimes are solved by the police in UK. The burglary detection rate is particularly dreadful (around 5%) and the impact on two female victims is clearly shown. Ten years ago, three times more burglars were caught and prosecuted. AND in the same period, 40% of households have invested in video recording devices - Ring Door Bells or home CCTV (this is shown as well), so the detection rate should have gone up - not down! My team can an establish an end-to-end image system ensuring that more images are gathered, more are identified and more result in offenders being sent to jail. Please let us help your police force - wherever it is in the world. AND the system utilises officers on restricted duties or volunteers, where possible - further reducing costs. info@nevilleforensicrecognition.com - for more information. https://lnkd.in/eeK3zHkD

Recology San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) San Francisco Police Department (SFPD): I am certain that the incident log regarding my husband's accident is inaccurate. There were many more Recology personnel on-site than documented. The delay in finalizing the police report raises concerns about corruption. This is one of many RED FLAG discrepancies on my husband's Police and Mechanical Inspection. #JusticeForJesusCanedo #GodisGood #stopthecorruptionrecology #truthmatters

I agree. Crime often goes unreported for a variety of reasons, including limited access to police services due to closed police stations, overwhelmed phone lines, and the minimization of offences by officers. Factors such as lengthy court processes, unwelcoming police attitudes, insufficient police strength, political interference in police work, and inadequate resources at the police stations deter individuals/police officers from reporting/acknowledging incidents. Additionally, a lack of confidence in police effectiveness, fear of retaliation, and doubts about the seriousness of their concerns further contribute to underreporting. Many potential victims may also feel embarrassed or think minor offences aren’t worth reporting, ultimately skewing official crime statistics and eroding public trust in law enforcement.
Ever wonder why 'recorded' crime seems to be going down, while everyday folk's experience seems very different? If the public can't tell you about crime, it isn't recorded. Have a read of the fairly damning article, and remember if you can't get through, you can't be told to dial 999... acknowledgement of a problem is the first step in tackling it. Another easy answer as to why public confidence is slipping... the public can't speak to the police. From dysfunctional communication systems to closed police stations the reasons for this dip remain obvious, but unacknowledged (or unacceptable to some). #police #crime https://lnkd.in/eCV6G2HS

Enforcement update! ️👮🚨 In our recent blog post, we discussed how the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) has been ramping up its enforcement activities. Most recently, EPPO seeks prison sentence of 8 years for company directors and a fine of over EUR 25 million and seizes assets on evading anti-dumping duties. HMICFRS inspection uncovers serious concerns in Met Police handling of child sexual exploitation and abuse cases, including: 🔹 The presence of victim-blaming language among officers and staff. 🔹 Officers failing to identify exploitation or to understand the links between missing children and exploitation. 🔹 When children go missing regularly, the force’s response is frequently poor, with officers and staff simply waiting for them to turn up. 🔹 The force often using officers and staff to investigate child exploitation who don’t have the skills or knowledge to do this effectively, with supervisors also lacking the right knowledge and experience. 🔹 Delays in starting and progressing investigations, and many missed opportunities to identify suspects and disrupt their activity, leaving children exposed to risk. Another damning report showing lessons have not been learnt from places like Rochdale and Rotherham. No child should be left unprotected. #protectchildren

ALL CRIME IS LINKED TO HUMAN TRAFFICKING When you start to see that all crime involves criminals and that criminals operate with each other you will start to see how your entire life you have had groups of people play their con games on you When we zoom out higher it allows you to see the entire criminal sindicate at every level The reason so many more people are waking up in waves is because every level of crime is being gutted up for all to see. What people will start seeing is that this links to something much darker and soon we will see how many good people have been kept slaves in a demonic system. Crime at every level, with Revolving Doors in and out the System https://lnkd.in/eUmyKzNU

According to police-recorded crime data, during 2021/22 there were 17,486 crimes logged by police in England and Wales where children had been sexually exploited. A 10 percent increase from the previous year and an average of 48 offences a day. #SexualHealth services are unique in their ability to identify and protect young people at risk of harm. It’s becoming more apparent that our government and police officials are aiding and abetting organised and violent crime in South Africa. Why else would they be so relaxed and more focused on catching their citizens for petty offenses while contraband moves freely in and out of the country. We can’t go on like this this. We must demand criminal justice reform and we can do that by signing the Safer SA pledge here: https://lnkd.in/dnegBKTC #SaferSouthAfrica
