In a tech-centric world, our most meaningful connections are still human. As developers, we bridge bytes and behavior, ensuring that each click and swipe on a device isn’t just an action, but an interaction. Tech is at its best when it amplifies our humanity, not when it replaces it. Let's keep crafting technology that enriches lives, not just screens. What human touch have you added to your tech projects lately? #TechThoughts #HumanCenteredDesign #DevelopersDiary Image generated with Adobe Firefly

🚀 Highlights from Config 2024! Attending in person was a game-changer. 🌈 Excited to share some top takeaways from the event, especially the latest Figma features. Here are the key highlights: ✨ Responsive Prototyping ✨ Smarter Auto-layout ✨ New UI ✨ Focus Mode for Devs ✨ Pages in FigJam ✨ FIGMA SLIDES!!! And last but definitely not least, Figma AI – a powerful tool that might feel daunting for aspiring designers. My take? Embrace these tools, learn from them, and use them to enhance your skills, not replace the foundational learning. 🌟 Thanking cove.tool for providing me with the opportunity to attend this event! Team lead & Educator (UI/UX engineering) | Coach & Mentor | I support navigating through career change, personal or team growth
Late notes from WeAreDevelopers congress! Suppose I choose one thing to share here. In that case, it is Noga Mann and Jade Jiang's talk on bridging the gap between design and development and establishing relationships and a common language. 🎁 As a gift, they shared a FigJam template for a Designer and Developer Implementation Retrospective: https://lnkd.in/gCWkd869. This template aims to improve designer and developer collaboration on your team! Have a look, adjust for your case, and create a situation for your team to understand each other's work context better! Are designers and developers on your teams practising pairing from time to time? If not, consider doing so. It is an excellent opportunity to build mutual understanding and a booster of professional growth for all involved. I let myself sound obvious on purpose now. Someone may need to read it. Try it! :-) As someone who has spent long years at this crossroads of UX/UI design and frontend development, I can relate much to this talk! Going beyond the knowledge domains: working with each other is a better experience when we try to find common ground. It's very human. 💚 🙏🏽 PS: My attendance was supported by Radia - the inclusive tech network for which I am very grateful. Radia network is a continuation of the German chapter of Girls in Tech and is on the mission to bring people together, break stereotypes, and celebrate diversity in the tech industry. Please join! If you use Instagram, give them a follow there, too: https://lnkd.in/gUhDMbBr :-) More findings from the congress might follow later. Or never. Take care! 🐿 #WeAreDevs #WWC24 #collaboration #retrospective
